About:China Visa

let me know the documents required for China tourist visa L. Is the procedure the same to student visa application?

Hello

I am from India.My husband is pursuing his Phd in Zheijiang University of Technology since last September 2011. He is currently on a vacation in India and his visa is expiring on 31Aug2011. When he wrote to his university, they asked him to apply for L visa ( they are sending a covering letter explaining the situation). Once he reaches China, they are going to convert the L visa into X visa However, please let me the documents required for the same as the Visa agencies are not able to help us regarding the same.

To apply for a tourist visa is easier than applying for a student visa. What he needs to provide are his original passport valid for more than 6 months as well as copy of information page, application form for China V2011A with genuine information and signature, one recently-taken color photo of 2x2 square inch glued or stapled on the application form.
