I have a mexican passport.Im in brasil. can I apply for a China tourist visa in the consulate in Rio?

Yes, you can apply for a China visa from Chinese consulate in Rio de Janeiro. For tourist visa application, you need to provide passport and copy of its personal information page, application form with photo, travel itineray, return ticket and hotel reservations if any.
