My boyfriend is a Filipino, he will come to HongKong from Philippines, is he allowed to stay in Hong Kong without visa?

my boyfriend and I are going to hk, however he is coming from London while im coming from philippine. Is he allowed to stay in hongkong without visa or permits? we are both Filipino citizen but heard that immigration officers might question his entry in hongkong because his visa in london will expire on the same month that he will be going to hongkong. We will just have tours and visit there in hongkong by december then after three days we will be going back to the Philipines. Thank you, im just worried that our vacation won't run smooth just as when we arrive in hongkong by december this year.
