I,m travelling to Hainan Island in 05 - 10 August. During this time is there heavy rain and typhoon.

From every Aug, Hainan Island will turn to the typhoon season. However, it is difficult to say whether typhoon and heavy rainfall will happen when you were there. You'd better check the weather forecast before leaving.0
