I am travelling to shanghai in september, what is the nearest place to visit as i have to come back to shanghai to take flight back home. Thank you. Katge

Around Shanghai, there are many nice places could be visited in one day. The most famous one should be Suzhou City which holds the best Chinese classic gardens. From Shanghai, you could take a high-speed train to get there in 30 minutes, and vice versa.
