I'm Ghanian, What are the requirements for entry China for holidays?

If you go to China for holidays, you can apply for Tourist Visa (L visa), it is generally valid for 3 months, 30 days stay duration in China. An original invitation from an authorized Chinese travel agency is required.
The complete requirements for tourist visa application are:
1. Properly and truthfully filled out Visa Application Form, to which one passport-size photo is attached
2. Valid passport with blank pages and a photocopy of the data paged
3. Round trip air-ticket, hotel reservation, travelers check and original invitation from an authorized Chinese travel agency.

Was nice hearing from u.. Anyway want to know if i want to visit China on my own, i have all necessary documents expect invitation, would i get the visa or not? I am going on my own and would book a hotel for number of days am gonna stay and also a round trip air-ticket..I have my bank statement, travelers cheque, Visa card(credit card) and well organised...

Daniel, according to your statement, I know that you all the required documents except the invitation letter. You can call the embassy or go to the embassy in person to check the requirements, please don't book air ticket or hotel reservation before you get the assuring answer. If the embassy tells you that the invitation letter is not mandatory, you can provide all the requirements to apply tourist visa.

Application forms are available at Chinese embassy or their website. This website also provides application form which can be downloaded.
