can i apply visa on arrival in guangzhou?

No, sir. You need to apply for a China visa in advance through Chinese consulate or visa office in Indonesia. you can not get a visa on arrival in Guangzhou.0

Hi, Eris, Guangzhou is not like Shenzhen which has VOA. If you work or reside in HK, you can apply for a China visa in HK through the Commissioner's Office of China Foreign Ministry there.0

To olive, now, there is no other option, you have to submit application to the Chinese Visa Application Service Center (CVASC) in Jakarta or Surabaya and apply for rush service, then you can pick up the visa before July 22 (Friday). The CVASC is closed on Saturday and Sunday.
If you don't have a valid China visa, you will be refused to board the flight by the airline company. It is impossible for you to get a visa on arrival in Guangzhou.0
