You don't need a Hong Kong visa for 2 days stay in Hk. Britain passport holders are exempt from a visa to Hong Kong for 180 days. You need to apply a China touirst visa through the China Visa Application Service Center in London or Manchester or China Consulate in Edinburgh according to consular districts. China embassy in London or Consulate in Manchester don't accept application from ordinary passport holders.
