my Lithuanian passport was taken by immigration, saying visa F not for internship, it is true?

Hi all, I got visa F from Lithuania to China. The details of my visa are:
Visa: F Entries: 2
Enter Before: 1 Aug 2011 Duration of Each stay: 180 days
Issue Date: 1 Fe 2011 I entered china on 10 Feb 2011

Yesterday immigration kept my passport and said its illegal to do internship in China with Visa F. And now they asked me to leave China and put fine on me and my employer company. I want to know what kind of Visa is valid to do internship in China for 1 year or 6 months.

Mr.VINAYKUMAR, Business Visa (F-Visa) is issued to aliens who come to China for business, research, lecture, science and technology exchange visits on invitation and short-term training and internship of less than six months.

As I know, it is legal for you to do internship on a F visa for 6 months. I guess that the employer company has illegal problems, so it is illegal for the company to enroll you as an intern. Therefore, you was involved in the thing.

It is ture that paid internship is not allowed in Visa F, and according to Chinese visa policy, it should be Z work visa. Your employer may thought escape from the procedure of work permit for you. About your Chinese F visa, it is 180 days each entry, your second entry should be on or before 1 Aug 2011, and stay in China for full 180 days.

sorry, i meant my "Indian" passport was taken in the question. Passport is still when them and they said they are still reviewing the situation. They told the company the paid internship is not allowed in Visa F. is it true? And i also would like to know that i have 2 entries visa with duration of 180 days for each stay, so does that mean i have 360 days visa ?? i know i have to make exit after first 180 days, so can when i come back to china, will i get another 180 days? Am i right?
