About:Hong Kong Bus

Pay bus without octopus in Hong Kong

if I pay the bus fare without octopus, can you explain the step how to pay with cash ?
is there any ticket that I must take?

You will see a box when you get on the bus, put coins in anf that's okay. To be noticed, you should prepare the coin ready, for example the ticket price is 12.3HKD, 10.6HKD. The box will not give the change back. The bus will not report the bus stop, so you should know where to get off. Press bell to show the driver that you are going to get off. If no one get off the bus, the driver will not open the back door or not stop at the bus station.

I will stay in USA hostel. which bus I can take to ladies market from my stay? which stop near there? & how much the fare?

because with mtr maybe more expensive in short distance
