You can try to apply 3 months Chinese visa in Vientiane Laos. I can't 100% sure that you can get it. The visa application in a third country is complex, maybe the China embassy in Vientiane asks you to provide Cambodian visa or residence permit. Maybe your application is denied if you are just a short-term visitors in Cambodia.
