For Taiwan passport holders, you are required to provide one of the following travel documents for entry or transit in Mainland China:1. A valid Travel Permit of the People's Republic of China.2. A valid Permit for Taiwan Residents to and from Mainland Chinawith a valid entry/transit endorsement. 3. Taiwan ID card - Travelers who do not have a valid Permit for Taiwan Residents to and from Mainland China shall submit your Taiwan ID card to apply for the Permit for Taiwan Residents to China.
