can i get visa on arrival at shanghai pudong airport for attending my mother's funeral

I was just told my mother pass away and i have to go to China right away. However, i don't have visa and the next two days are the weekend..  I really have to go back to China immediately Can I get visa on arrival at Shanghai?

If you don't have an letter which allow you to get a visa on arrival, you can't get it at Shanghai, now, the best way is to wait for the Monday and apply for China visa on Monday and asks for the rush service of 1 working day, then you can pick it up on Monday. Please tell the visa officer your mother pass away and you need to come to China as soon as possible, then he/she will approves the rush service.
