How much is the taxi fare from PVG airport to the Great Tang Hotel and do we have to book in advance

Do you mean the Great Tang Hotel at Jiading District, Shanghai? It is about 80 km away from Pudong airport. If you take a taxi, it costs nearly CNY200 for a single way. No need to book the taxi in advance, since there are always numerous taxis waiting outside Pudong airport 24 hours a day.0
