in mar 2012 i want to visit the tianmen mountains.

Question

to know how to get there.  So far, it looks like I can fly to Zhangjiajie and then a bus to a hotel.  From there, how do I get into the park?  Is there a bus or are there tours?  Where could I visit on line to find out my options?

Yes, you can fly from Shanghai to Zhangjiajie, then take a bus or taxi to your hotel.  As I know, in Zhangjiajie city, bus 4, 5, 8 or 10 can take you to the park.  There are local tours to travel there. You can find more information about Zhangjiajie on this webiste. Hope it will help you.
