travelling to nanning

Question

I'm planning to go to Nanning from Haikou, Hainan Island. Then, from Nanning to Ha Long Bay, Vietnam.  May anyone advise me the travelling time and distance, as well as the mode of transport available.  Thanks.

The best way from Haikou to Nanning is by air and it is about a 50-60 minutes flight journey. The bus from Nanning to Ha Long Bay departs at about 07:30 from Guangxi Yunde Tourist Supermarket at 10, Youai Lu, Nanning City.  It takes about 10-12 hours including the passing customs time.
