about train ticket from Lanzhou to Dunhuang

If I arrive Lanzhou in the morning and want to go to Dunhuang by train in the afternoon. Can I buy train ticket to Dunhuang that day? or I have to reserve before going?

yes,you can.

There are totally 3 trains from Lanzhou to Dunhuang.

Y667 20:38-12:08
The price is the same

143 for a hard seat
246/254/263 for a soft seat
383/400 for a sleeping berth

You can buy the ticket 30 minutes before the train starts.
