About:Chinese Embassy in Philippines

Do i need to make an appearance if an agent will be the one to file my China visa application?

i am applying for a tourist visa in china,i am already 23 yrs old do i need to make an appearance if an agent will be the one to file my application.

You don't need to make an appearance if one agent will be the one to file your application.

PS: For first time applicants to China, personal appearance is required for those who are 16-21 years old.
