About:Apply for China Visa in a Third Country

I'm a Jamaica passport holder, do I need a visa for Hong Kong for the transit?

i'm a jamaican passport holder currently living legally in the UK. I will be visiting Australia in nov. i know that i need a visa and i will be applying for one in Aug. However, my flight i via Hong Kong. i need to know if as a Jamaican passport holder, do i need a visa for Hong Kong? According to their website, Mutually Non-visa Agreement on Jun
25,1997- does this mean i do not need a visa?

yes, you don't need a visa to Hong Kong for the transit in Hong Kong. Jamaican passport holders are exempt from a visa to Hong Kong for 90 days.
