applying for chinese tourist visa in 10 months advance !

Hi, Is is possible to apply for tourist visa in 10 months advance. Since i work in Cruise ship and would like to visit China after i finish my 10 months contract so that i can directly fly to china with my chinese wife. IS IS POSSIBLE ?

You can't apply for tourist visa in 10 months advance,  from the date of issue, a single-entry visa shall be valid for 3 months and double-entry visa for 6 months, you are advised to apply 1 month in advance depending on the specific cases, to avoid the inconvenience of visa expiration.
