what are the requirements for china visa if i would be traveling to china by land?

I am a Filipino with thailand work permit, and I would like to travel to China on my own. What are the visa requirements if i would be traveling to China by land? and nobody invited me...i will just go there by myself.Thank you so much !

You need to submit the following documents to apply for a tourist visa to China: 1. Your original passport 2. completed visa application forms (Form V.2011A and Form V.2011B) 3. a recently taken passport photo 4. thailand work permit and its copy 5. maybe the consular officer will ask you to provide financial certificate and hotel booking in China.
