About:Chinese Embassy in Australia

sir, Iam travelling from bangkok to Laos then laos to vietnam thenfrom there to China on october.

My question is, do i need to get a visa to enter China though I have a Thailand work permit and will have my re-entry too? Thank you so much.

Yes, you need to apply for a China visa. Since you have work permit for Thailand, you can process your visa there. But keep in mind China single entry visa is valid for 3 months from issue date, and make sure that DO NOT apply too early.
