About:Shanghai Long-Distance Bus

Taxi hire/fare from Shanghai to Haimen

Hi,
would love to know how much a taxi would roughly cost from Shanghai to Haimen. Or is it possible to do a deal as in if I needed to go from Shanghai to Haimen in morning then in afternoon return for three days ...

The taxi fare would be around CNY300 for a single way from Shangjhai to Haimen. You can try to budget with the taxi driver. You can also go to Shanghai general bus station to take long-distance bus station to Haimen which is much cheaper, about CNY36 for one way.

I agree with Sara but trying budgeting with the cab driver can help you lower your taxi fare. Have done it many a times.
