visiting beijing from sep 9 to 12

Question

Hi, can you tell me if it is a bad time to visit Beijing from Sep 9 to 12 as the Chinese is celebrating Mid-Autumn? I afraid of crowded train station as we need to travel by train on Sep 9 from Tianjin to Beijing and Sep 12 from Beijing to Tianjin. Moreover I afraid shops are closed due to the holidays. Thanks for your advice and insight in advance.

Yes, it is the Mid-Autumn celebration. I think the train between Beijing and Tianjin is fine for there are many trains every day. The Mid-Autumn festival is Sep10-12. So, no big problem on Sep 9 and buy ticket of Sep 12 by the way. You can take train but can not avoid crowds to some extent.
