Shantou polytechnic and distance to downtown

Hello

How far is the distance from Shantou polytechnic and downtown, can I get a taxi from the college? Also are there any bilingual kindergartens near to the college, or atleast any better ones near the college?

It is about 20km by road from Shantou Polytechnic to the city centre. You can take a taxi from the college to the downtown area. There seems no bilingual kindergarten around the college. Well, there are several nice bilingual kindergartens in Shantou City, such as Nancy English Kindergarten at Jinshayuan Middle District.

Hi thought I would update anyone interested about kindergartens in Shantou, or at least the one that was recommended here. I put my son into nancy English kindergarten (in the jinshayuan middle district) unfortunately this school turned out to be a disappointment. They told me that because my son does not sleep during the noon period that he cannot stay there anymore. In the UK we are not accustomed to noon time naps, so was not very happy, plus having to explain to my 3 year old that he can no longer go to school there because he eont go to sleep is ridiculous and really authocratic. Plus school seems nice enough but English level is very limited of the staff despite claiming to be a bilingual school.
