can i apply for chinese work visa from hong kong

Question

i have a one month business visa for china and just came to china yesterday............my employer will give me a working visa......but by the time the paperwork is completed for me the one month will have expired....can i apply for the working visa from hong kong..........there are all new regulations  and dont know how to arrange visa.................i am not going back to ireland to apply..........any and all help would be greatly appreciated

You can apply for a China work visa in HK. So, it is ok for you to leave before your F visa expires, and apply for a Z visa in HK with documents from your employer.
