If you will study Kong Fu for less than 6 months, F visa is ok. So, contact a trainning school first. For F visa application (short time student visa to China), you need an Admission Letter from a training school and student Visa Application for Study in China (Form JW 202 or JW201, original and photocopy); Other requirements are original passport, application form for China visa (V2011A) with photo, possibly, you will also be required to provide round-trip ticket, hotel bookings and bank statements to cover your stay in China.

How long will you stay in China? if for short time less than 6 months, you can enter China with a tourist visa, a multiple entry tourist visa would be the best. Or you can try to apply for an F visa if you can get an invitation letter from a training school and an official letter issued by a related office. Don't worry, there is no such restriction about age.

F visa is not for business only. X visa is for long time (more than 6 months) student in China, I have no idea if a Kong Fu training school is able to issue forms for X visa application. Students will be issued F visa as well if they will study in China for less than 6 months.

Hi, Zam, you'd better find for a training school first before going to China. Or, just apply for a tourist visa to enter China first. Find a school and ask them for documents for a X visa application.

Yes, it is true that Pakistanis can't apply for individual tourist visa. For tourism in China, Pakistani nationals are encouraged to join a tourist group (more than 5 people), which should be arranged through a qualified local travel agency.

If you want to study Kung-fu for more than one year, you need to apply Student Visa (X visa) to China, but you have to contact a school and ask it to help you. Maybe the school can send you an official invitation letter.
