About:Shanghai Pudong Airport Shuttle Bus

Shuttle bus or train from hotel to Shanghai Pudong Airport?

I will be traveling with 16 people from downtown Shaghai Jinjiang hotel to Pudong airport to catch a 10 pm flight so get to zipper by 8 pm. Which mode of transfer would be best - shuttle or train? What about the cost per person? Travel is mid July.

It is suggested that you go to the airport terminal at Jing'an Temple and then take shuttle bus Line 2 to get to Pudong Airport. It will take you about one hour and CNY20/adult.
Of course, from the nearby People's Square, you could also take subway Line 2 to Pudong Airport. However, it will take you nearby 1.5 hours on the way, and you have to make a transit for one time. Not very efficient for 16 people together.
