train ticket from Hangzhou to Nanjing

If I travel from Hangzhou to Nanjing by train do I get the tickets from the railway station at the spot or to book in advance?

You can buy the ticket at Hangzhou Railway Station or purchase it online in advance. Personally, to assure getting a seat, you would better book the tickets online in advance.
