Three trains are available from Beijing to Dalian which takes around 11hrs. And bullet trains are operating between Qingdao and Beijing. However, there are no direct trains between Dalian and Qingdao. From Dalian, you could take train to Jinan first and then to Qingdao. About the train tickets reservation and details, you could search and book it online in advance.

From Beijing to Dalian by train about 11 and half hours (3 times per day), after from Dalian to Qingdao also can go by train, but I suggest you to go by ferry, it'll more faster, than by train. but by ferry you cannot go direct to Qingdao, first you'll arrive to Yantai(if you just travel and want to see something interesting, at least you can stay in Yantai 2 days, lovely small city). After from Yantai to Qingdao you can go by train, it takes only 4 hours, but train only 1 time per day. And from Qingdao to Beijing take fast train, it takes only 5 and half hours (6 times per day). Hope my information will help you :)
