About:Apply for China Visa in a Third Country

I would like to clarify, I am an Australian currently in Shanghai and need to get a new L visa.

Can I do this in Hong Kong? From your information above, it seems that I can, I just need to be sure. Thanks

Yes, you can apply for a new L visa in Hong Kong. Citizens of Australia are not in the list of 33 countries which are banned to apply Hong Kong/Macau except they work or reside in Hong Kong.
