about student visa to china

Question

i have arranged to stay at the houbeidui in henan province for a year but am struggling with a visa, trying for a student visa but even with the invite i need a jw202 form and considering its a school not a university i doubt they can supply one? can anyone enlighten me on which direction to go?

Can you tell me more information about your study in China and your scholl? Why are you in Houbeidui in a school in Henan province? What kind of visa do you hold to enter China?

yes im going to be learning traditional shaolin wushu and gong fu.travelling from the uk

The school can't get JW202 for you because it is just a private school to teach Shaolin Wushu and Gong Fu, the JW202 or JW201 is issued to aliens who come to China for furthur study in a university/college/institute by Ministry of Education. Now the school has to solve your visa problem if he wants to enroll you. I think the school has its own way. For example, he will asks you to come to China on a tourist visa, then go to the local exit-entry administrative department of public security bureau to apply for visa extension or change tourist visa to business visa. In a word, the school has its own way to solve it.
