travel from xian to chengdu or chongqing

Please, give a good idea what will my steps in travelling to this cities. from xian , Can I proceed first to chengdu or chongqing? Are there any trains or busses there, After to this two cities, Can I proceed to Guillian and then Zhangjajie. ?
