how to get a tourist visa to china for nigerians?

I am a Nigeria national. A Police officer, i will be starting my annual leave in Septmeber 2011 and would want to vist china. Please give me an idea what kind of documents i have to submit to get the visa. I never vist china before and i dont know or have anybody to give invitation letter pls have that in mind. Thanks.

Nigerians can't get an individual tourist visa to China. As far as I know, China embassy in Abuja and consulate in Lagos only issue Business F Visa, Transit GVisa, Students XVisa, Visa for employment/work Z Visa. You'd better go to the embassy or consulate to have enquiries in person for the tourist visa to China.
