I suggest you can take train from Qingdao to Taishan Station directly. There are a dozen of trains from Qingdao to Taishan everyday and only two bullet train at 6:10am and 10:30am. Bullet trains takes 3 hours and other trains takes about 5-6 hours. After that, just take a taxi to the mountain foot of Taishan.1
