About:Marriage Registration in China

marriage

hi there,im a malaysian and going to china soon for a marriage registration wit my china bf..so how long did this process takes and did i still need to come back to malaysia again for any cases??and where can i register for a family visit visa duration for 1 year?thanks

You need to get the Single Status Certificate from Malaysia, then authenticated by Malayisan Foreign Affairs Office or related authority, at last authenticated by China embassy/consulate in Malaysia. Then you can take the Single Status Certificate and valid passport with Chinese visa to go to China for marriage registration. It takes only 20 minutes to register marriage in China. You can go to local Exit-Entry Administrative Bureau to apply for 1 year family visit visa 3 days before the expiration of your China L visa.
