i want to travel through beijing

Hie ,, i am a malawian studying in russia , i want to travel to malysia but using the international train to beijing then a flight to malaysia from beijing ,, since i wiil be passing through china , would i need a transit visa , plesae advise me on what i am required to do ,,

You need to apply for China transit visa, the required documents are: 1. your passport 2. filled China visa application form V.2011A and form V.2011B 3. one recent passport photo 4. Russian residence permit and its copy 5. train ticket to Beijing, flight ticket to Malaysia 6. Malaysia visa
