Which application do I need to fill out for a Chinese Visa: V2011A or V2011B. And also I wanted to know, do i need to turn in my passport to get a chinese visa.

You need to submit your passport to get a Chinese visa. You just need to fill out Visa Application Form V.2011A. Only the below applicants need to fill V.2011B form besides V.2011A: If you are applying to work or study in China, or if someone else travelling with your shares the same passport, or if you are applying for a visa in a country or territory other than the country of your current nationality, you should fill out the Supplementary Visa Application Form (Form V.2011B)
