looking for fastest and shortest time taking train from Chengdu to SHANGHAI or BEIJING.

I am looking forward for a vacation in CHENGDU, in mean time if possible i wanted to see shanghai or else Beijing which ever is the shortest, and spend out some time. Let me know which ever the fastest train possible is.
