time to visit xian

Question

I am planning to visit Xian in the fall, which is a better month, not too hot and cold, will it be Sept or Octif Oct 1-10, is it national holidays, will be too many tourist ? pls advise the weather and best time to gomany thanks

You'd better avoid the Golden Week of the National Day. During that peroid, there are many tourists to come to Xian. I'm a local of Xian. I know this is very true. You can come to Xian in the late Septmber or after October 8. In the late Sept, it's not hot and the weather starts to be cooler. Jackets, shirts and light suits are suitable.
