Embassy closing to another location

I understand the embassy is closing from May 8th to 26 what alternative arrangements is being made so visa application can still go ahead.
I'm waiting for a company letter from Shell this might came late due to the above dates, question, Does the embassy have alternate arrangements to apply for China visa.
