Embassy closing to another location

I understand the embassy is closing from May 8th to 26 what alternative arrangements is being made so visa application can still go ahead.
I'm waiting for a company letter from Shell this might came late due to the above dates, question, Does the embassy have alternate arrangements to apply for China visa.

NO, Chinese embassy have not released notice for alternate arrangement for visa application. You may need to wait and apply later when embassy is open.
