moving to beijing

Question

We are moving to Beijing in August and would like to know the best area to live in.  My partner will work in Western Academy of Beijing and I will study in BJTU. Where is the best location to live in just in the middle of both schools? We are looking at Dongzhimen area, is it convinient to go places from there? We are also planning on getting bikes for ourselves.Thank you,Jeni

Hi, does BJTU refers to Beijing Jiaotong University? If so, it is OK for you two staying at Dongzhimen area which is generally in the middle of both schools. However, it is about 11km from BJTU to Dongzhimen while it is about 13km from Western Academy of Beijing to Dongzhimen. It is a little far for you to travel between them by bike.
