You can bring as much as what you want to China, but only 2 bottles of less than 750ml each one containing less than 12% alcohol can be taken into China for free. If you take more, 50% tax will be charged by China Customs.

As of 28 October 2016:
2 bottles can be brought in by each passenger duty free.
Up to 7 bottles per passenger can be brought in duty free at the discretion of CN customs.
Up to 21 bottles per passenger can be brought in but duties must be paid at the point of entry, upon presentation of a sales receipt. Duties to be determines by CN customs depending on place of origin of the wine (different duties for different countries, regions, etc)
All imports above 21 bottles must go through a broker.
