About:Hong Kong Visa Application

Hi,
I applied for a HK visa on 18th April through a Chinese Embassy. They said it will take from 2 weeks to 2 months. My flight is on 28th June.
Later I realised i made a mistake when applying for a visa, because i needed a double entry visa, and not a single entry, since I'm gonna stay in HK only for 10 days maybe and another 2 weeks I'll be going somewhere else, where i don't need a visa in Asia. They told me i have to re-start the application process.
I can't restart it until i get the single entry visa I already applied for though. So there is a high chance I won't get a double entry visa after re-application.
Is is possible to get a double entry visa in HongKong airport then? Please help, this is sort of urgent, because I have to return to HK after that other trip and i don't want to be stuck in another country.

It is impossible to get a double entry visa in Hong Kong airport. Now it's true that you can't submit for a new visa application through Chinese embassy. I'm afraid that you have to change your schedule to avoid the second entry to HK.
