About:Chinese Embassy in Spain

Hi, I'm a UK Citizen living and working in Spain and have to go to China in the next month for a meeting. However my NIE is expired and I cannot get a time to renew it until October. Will my UK passport and expired NIE be OK, or what else should I provide? I have an invitation letter from my employers office in China.
Many thanks.

Your UK passport and expired NIE are not ok for China visa application, you have to renew your NIE before China visa application. For non-spanish applicants, the original and copy of Spain residence permit is required.
