About:Chinese Consulate in Sydney

Hi I have a 6hr stopover in Guangzhou ,do I need a visa or document to step out of air port for a short time

You need a transit visa to go out the airport for a short time. You can also try to apply for one day stay permit at the airport, if you get it, you can go out the airport, otherwise, just stay at the airport.
