About:Chinese Consulate in Chicago

I am a Chinese citizen with permanent resident status in Wisconsin, America. I just noticed that my Chinese passport has expired, and I will not be able to travel to china to visit family unless I can renew it here in America. How can I renew my passport here in America? How much will it cos?, How long will it take?

Sincerely,

Yinliu

You can renew your China passport at China consulate in Chicago because Wisconsin is under its consular jurisdiction. It costs US$ 55 and it takes 15 working days. You need to submit the application in person, application by mailing is not accepted.
