About:China Train

Do trains in China run on time?
We are planning to go from Datong to Xian via Beijing by train. The Datong-Beijing train arrives at 18:40, while the Beijing-Xian train departs at 19:57. Would that give us enough time to do the transfer?

It depends. But most trains do depart on time. Since you reach and depart at the same train station which is Beijing west train station, 1hr is enough for you to transfer.
