Is L single entry visa valid if I go to Hongkong or Macau first?

Hi. I will be in Beijing by the third week of May this year. I already have an L single entry visa for this trip. However, I have another trip to Hong Kong two weeks earlier. Will my entry to Hong Kong be counted as an entry to China in itself? What if I decide to have a side trip to Macau? Will my China L single entry visa be void if I enter Hong Kong and Macau two weeks earlier? As Filipinos, we are not required to have a visa for both Hong Kong and Macau; but I'm confused with a later entry to Beijing. Please help. Thank you

It is OK for you to visit Beijing with your visa after Hong Kong and Macau. It has no influence on your trip to Beijing. You enter Hong Kong and Macau with your passport and just show you visa when you enter Beijing, the first entry.
