About:Hong Kong International Airport

Good day, my family and i are going to hongkong on april 23 and staying for 5 days but, a family friend will be tagging along but he will just be transfering to a different airplane my question is . we are arriving 10 pm at hk airport his flight will be april 24 at 1;45 am meaning he has only 3 hours and 45 minutes left from arrival so i have to take him to the terminal 1 for his quatar airways flight to dubai. is it allowed at hongkong and how far is the arrival area to the departure area of the airport . the last time i went to hk was a olong time ago it was still kaitak airport so i am worried that the immigration may not allow him to go out to transfer from the arrival area to the departure what should we do ? please guide and help me on what to do thank you in advance

No problem for the transfer. Time is enough and it is alled to go out for the transfer. Passport holders of most countries are allowed to transfer in Hong Kong without visa or other special permit within 7 days, just showing flight ticket to the third destination.
